Dolphins Sign NT Chris Baker Off Practice Squad

The Miami Dolphins made a roster move on Thanksgiving, signing nose tackle Chris Baker off the team's practice squad.

Rookie defensive end Clifton Geathers was placed on waivers.

Originally signed by the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Hampton in 2009, Baker (6-2, 329) appeared in one game for the Broncos as a rookie. The Broncos waived Baker at the end of this year's training camp.

Baker joined the Dolphins' practice squad in Week 5, and adds depth behind starter Paul Soliai at the nose tackle position.
