Eagles Sign P Ken Parrish

Adam Caplan of Scout.com reports the Philadelphia Eagles have signed free agent punter Ken Parrish.

Terms were not disclosed.

Parrish, 25, is a native of East Stroudsberg, Pennsylvania and played his college ball at East Stroudsburg University, where he was an all-PSAC selection his final two seasons. Parrish entered the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers, who signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2007. Parrish averaged 39.8 yards per punt in three pre-season games before he was released.

Parrish spent part of last off-season on the Eagles' roster, but was waived prior to the start of pre-season action. Picked up for one game by the New York Jets, Parrish averaged 36 yards on a pair of punts against the Baltimore Ravens.

Parrish becomes the third punter on the Eagles' roster, joining restricted free agent Sav Rocca and veteran Durant Brooks.
