Favre Makes (Fun) Bet With College Baseball Team

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre made a (fun) bet this morning with the Southern Mississippi baseball team, Al Jones of the Biloxi Sun-Herald reports.
Favre was asked by one of the players if he was going to return to the Vikings for the 2010 season.
"I was a kid again watching y'all play in the College World Series," Favre said. "The team physician with the Vikings was at my house when I was deciding on (shoulder) surgery. He walked in with my agent, Bus (Cook), and he spoke to me. I put my arm out and said you have to wait because Southern Miss is playing in the College World Series.
"That was amazing. I don’t know yet."
"Let’s make a (fun) bet," Favre continued. "If you guys go back to the College World Series this year — I will come back and play. How about that?
"You go back and I go back."
As Chip Scoggins of the Star Tribune notes, the Golden Eagles are 30-20 on the season.
