Favre to Contact Dr. James Andrews

After Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre revealed that he had tendinitis in his throwing shoulder.
Favre tells ESPN's Ed Werder that he plans to consult with Dr. James Andrews, who performed the 2008 surgery on Favre's biceps tendon that could be related to the pain the 41-year old is currently experiencing.
Favre completed 18-of-31 pass attempts for 170 yards and a touchdown on Sunday, but also tossed three interceptions for the third time this season.
In addition to shoulder pain, Favre has two broken bones in his left foot/ankle area, putting his 294-game consecutive starting streak in jeopardy for next Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers.
