Giants QB Jim Sorgi Wants To Be Solid Back-Up

The former Wisconsin Badgers quarterback is happy with his backup status.

After being let go by the Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants quarterback Jim Sorgi is looking to be a solid back-up.

"I got let go by the Colts," Sorgi told Mike Garafolo of The Star-Ledger. "A couple months ago, I was just looking for a job. So I'm trying to sustain that job, and being the solid No. 2 here would be great. I only signed a one-year deal, so we'll see how this year goes and we'll go from there. You can't speculate on what the future brings and you go out there and do your best today and hope it brings good things tomorrow."
