Haynesworth Reportedly Drops 32 Pounds

Disgruntled defensive lineman's personal trainer claims a big drop in weight.

Tripp Smith, the personal trainer for Albert Hayensworth, claims the disgruntled Washington Redskins defensive lineman has dropped 32 pounds since April 5.

"I think he's going to open some eyes when he gets to camp," Smith tells Rich Campbell of the Free Lance-Star.

Smith says that Haynesworth weighed 362 pounds--Haynesworth's listed weight has traditionally been 350 pounds--when they began their several hours per day, four days per week workout regimen. Smith says Haynesworth was committed to being in top shape when training camp opens on July 29.

Despite missing the mandatory mini-camp, Haynesworth has $21 million dollars worth of financial incentive to be present when camp opens.

"Albert, he's the type of person that doesn't want to disappoint anybody, but he's very business-minded," Smith added. "I think it has motivated him quite a bit, just seeing what his teammates are saying about him and seeing what everybody in the press is saying about him."
