Jaguars Sign LB Alvin Bowen to Practice Squad

The Jacksonville Jaguars have re-signed linebacker Alvin Bowen to their practice squad.

A fifth-round pick (147th overall) out of Iowa State by the Buffalo Bills in 2008, Bowen had one tackle in two games for the Jaguars this season. Bowen was waived on Tuesday after the Jaguars claimed quarterback Trent Edwards, Bowen's former teammate in Buffalo, off waivers.

The return of Bowen, and arrival of Edwards, means the departure of Keith Null, a second-year quarterback out of West Texas A&M who was signed to the practice squad on Monday.
