New York Jets offensive tackle Robert Turner and linebacker Jamaal Westerman gave HBO a fight scene to show during the premiere episode of the "Hard Knocks" series.

"I picked a guy off on the pass protection and put him on his back," Turner explained to Jenny Vrentas of The Star-Ledger. "He grabbed a hold of my face mask and had my head cranked, so I told him to let go, and he wouldn’t let go. He was just holding on, so I started dropping some fists in his kidneys, that's all."

Vrentas adds that Jets head coach Rex Ryan predicted that Turner would be involved in that training camp's first fight.

HBO's "Hard Knocks" premieres next Wednesday at 10pm ET.
