Jets GM, Revis' Agent Held Face-to-Face Meeting

Jonathan Feinsod and Neil Schwartz, the agents for New York Jets All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis, had a face-to-face meeting with Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum at Roscoe Diner in Roscoe, New York last Friday.

"HBO wanted to be there, but we declined," Feinsod said today, according to Jenny Vrentas of The Star-Ledger. "We presented Mike (Tannenbaum) with a proposal to show (Jets owner) Mr. (Woody) Johnson, and we are waiting for a response."

Revis will need to report to training camp by tomorrow to avoid risking the loss of an accrued season towards unrestricted free agency--the 30-day rule--but that is reportedly not something Revis is concerned with. By skipping the first nine days of camp, Revis is already subject to over $140,000 worth of fines ($15,888 per day).
