Jets, Revis Agree to Four-Year Deal

The New York Jets announced that they have reached a four-year deal with All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis.

According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the deal is worth $46 million and includes $32 million in guaranteed money.

"I'm happy; I'm relieved," general manager Mike Tannenbaum said on Monday. "Obviously Darrelle is a great player. He's our guy; he's an important piece to what we’re trying to accomplish here."

The New York Daily News reported on Sunday that Jets head coach Rex Ryan met with Revis in Florida this weekend, and Tannnenbaum added that a "significant breakthrough" occurred between himself and Revis' agents, Jonathan Feinsod and Neil Schwartz, late Sunday night, with the two sides agreeing to the

That's awesome! I can now move the Jets defense back on my list for fantasy football defenses. Not that they weren't, just higher up the list.
