Jets Vote to Decertify Union

Another day, another team of NFL players voted unanimously to grant the NFLPA authorization to decertify next year.

Jane McManus of ESPNNewYork.com reports the New York Jets players caste their vote today, and there were no "Nea" votes to be had.

An unofficial tally shows that the Buffalo Bills, New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants, and Washington Redskins have all granted authorization to the union to decertify itself next year, which could prevent a lockout attempt by the owners in March 2011 as it would allow the union to sue the NFL under United States anti-trust laws.
