LenDale White Steers Stafon Johnson to the Titans

Unhappy with his reduced role in the offense, running back LenDale White's wish was granted on Saturday, when the Tennessee Titans used him to improve their draft positioning in the fourth- and sixth-rounds of the 2010 NFL Draft by trading him to the Seattle Seahawks.
White repaid the favor by selling the Titans on USC running back Stafon Johnson, who had several teams interested in signing him as a priority free agent after the draft.
"I asked (White), 'What should I do?' He said he felt like Tennessee would be a great opportunity for me, and I felt the same way," Johnson told Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean. "He is like my big brother and I confided in him about different things and he gave me some good advice. He said for me, Tennessee would be great, that it’s a great place."
My good pal Doug Farrar profiled Johnson for the Washington Post in March, and if you're not rooting for this kid, or are not inspired by his courageous comeback from a near-death experience, there might be something wrong with you.
