Carolina Panthers quarterback Matt Moore will get the start next Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

Moore started the first two games of the season, completing 20 of his 49 pass attempts for 307 yards with two touchdowns and four interceptions.

2010 second-round pick Jimmy Clausen replaced Moore in Week 2, but the offense has progressively worsened, picking up just 8 first downs on 147 total yards of offense in the Panthers' 23-6 loss to the Chicago Bears.
