NFLPA Files Collusion Case

The NFL Players Association filed a collusion case against the NFL, Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com reports:

"Per the source, the case focuses on the allegation that the teams agreed not to pursue restricted free agents in 2010. The claim also alleges that teams deliberately and collectively delayed option bonus payments due in 2011 until the first day after the first regular-season game."

Florio adds that the claim will be handled by Special Master Stephen Burbank, and reviewed by U.S. District Court Judge David Doty (Minnesota).
