Panthers Sign C/G Adrian Martinez to Practice Squad

According to a league source, the Carolina Panthers have signed rookie free agent center/guard Adrian Martinez to their practice squad.

Martinez replaces wide receiver Eron Riley, a first-year player from Duke who was added to the squad on Saturday.

The 6-3, 308-pound Martinez played his college ball at Colorado State and spent the first few months of his NFL career with the Seattle Seahawks. Waived by the Seahawks in the first week of training camp, Martinez signed with the Indianapolis Colts, appearing in four games before he was released as part of their roster cuts.
