Patriots Downgrade S Patrick Chung to Out

The New England Patriots have downgraded safety Patrick Chung to "Out" for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns.

A 2009 second-round pick out of Oregon who moved into a starting role this season, Chung injured his knee during the Patriots' 23-20 win over the San Diego Chargers in Week 7. Chung missed last week's win over the Minnesota Vikings, and had been listed as "questionable" for tomorrow's game in Cleveland.

Despite missing last week's game, Chung still ranks second on the Patriots in tackles with 46, and his two interceptions have him tied with Rob Ninkovich and Devin McCourty for the team lead.

Here's an updated look at the Patriots-Browns injury report:

New England

Out: S Patrick Chung (knee), S Jarrad Page (calf), RB Fred Taylor (toe)
Questionable: WR Deion Branch (hamstring), WR Matt Slater (ankle)
Probable: LB Tull Banta-Cain (not injury related), QB Tom Brady (right shoulder), LB Brandon Spikes (shoulder)

Cleveland

Doubtful: QB Jake Delhomme (ankle), T John St. Clair (ankle)
Questionable: DE Kenyon Coleman (knee), NT Shaun Rogers (ankle), LB Matt Roth (hamstring), QB Seneca Wallace (ankle)
Probable: TE Alex Smith (ankle)
