The New England Patriots have signed free agent defensive lineman Amon Gordon, Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

A fourth-round pick (161st overall) out of Stanford by the Cleveland Browns in 2004, Gordon has made 29 tackles in 13 games over parts of five seasons with the Browns, Denver Broncos, Baltimore Ravens, and Tennessee Titans.

Gordon spent of the 2009 off-season with the Philadelphia Eagles, but was waived with an injury settlement in mid-August.
