In addition to placing wide receiver Percy Harvin on the "Exempt/Left Squad" list on Thursday, the Minnesota Vikings sent Harvin a "five-day letter", reports Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com.

As Florio notes, it's highly unlikely that, after five days, the Vikings would actually place Harvin on the "Reserve/Left Squad" list.

The Vikings have acknowledged the return of Harvin's migraine headaches, and the reigning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and Pro Bowl return specialist is a key figure in the VIkings' defense of their NFC North title.
