Rams Rookie CB Jerome Murphy Arrested in Florida

St. Louis Rams third-round cornerback Jerome Murphy was arrested on Saturday, Greg Auman of the St. Petersburg Times reports.

Murphy was arrested near the campus of the University of South Florida at 1pm and charged with misdemeanor driving without a valid license. Murphy was released two hours later on $250 cash bond.

The 65th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, and the first player chosen in the third round, Murphy signed a four-year, $2.727 million dollar contract on June 28, which included a $937,739 signing bonus.

Murphy is due to report to Rams' training camp in Earth City, Missouri on July 28.
