Rams' Season-Opener May Be Blacked Out

The Seattle Seahawks (4) and Arizona Cardinals (2) have combined to win the last six NFC West titles, but with a rebuilding effort underway in Seattle, and the Cardinals losing quarterback Kurt Warner to retirement, the division is wide open in 2010.

That "It's anyone's division" feeling has yet to catch on in St. Louis.

Despite the debut of 2010 first overall pick Sam Bradford against the two-time defending NFC West champion Cardials, the city's former NFL inhabitants, the Rams were 2,000 tickets away from avoiding a local TV blackout on Tuesday night, reports Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Thomas adds that 9 of the last 25 Rams home games have been blacked out locally.

Goes to show all other teams that it is not easy have 40,000+ on a waiting list. I live in a town up until recently most of the home games were black out (Phoenix). When the Pack came to town it was really easy to get great seats.
