Ravens S Dawan Landry Signs RFA Tender

The Baltimore Ravens announced that restricted free agent safety Dawan Landry has signed his one-year tender.
"Everybody wants to do a long-term deal, but it probably won’t happen so you have to sign your tender," Landry said on Tuesday.
A fifth-round pick (146th overall) out of Georgia Tech in 2006, Landry was tendered the "Second Round" level and will earn a non-guaranteed $1.759 million dollar base salary in 2010.
After missing all but two games in 2008 to a neck injury, Landry started 16 games for the Ravens in 2009, posting a career-high 89 tackles, while adding 4 interceptions and breaking up 8 passes. Landry returned one interception 48 yards for a touchdown against the Cleveland Browns in a 16-0 win on November 16.
During his four-year career, Landry has 251 tackles, 4 quarterback sacks, and 9 interceptions.
Landry's signing of his tender leaves fourth-year fullback Le'Ron McClain as the Ravens' lone unsigned restricted free agent.
