Redskins Release Four, Place Malcolm Kelly on IR
By admin
To get down to the league-mandated 75-man roster by today's 4pm ET deadline, the Washington Redskins placed 2008 second-round wide receiver Malcolm Kelly (hamstring) on injured reserve.
The Redskins also cut veteran long-snapper James Dearth, and waived center Edwin Williams, safety Lendy Holmes, and rookie defensive end Hall Davis.
Davis, a fifth-round pick of the St. Louis Rams, was acquired from the Redskins for a conditional draft choice in 2011 on Monday. One day later, he's on the waiver-wire.
