Rex Grossman Likely to See Bulk of Action in Pre-Season Opener

Washington Redskins starting quarterback Donovan McNabb will play 5-18 snaps in Friday night's pre-season opener against the Buffalo Bills, Jason Reid of the Washington Post reports.

With Richard Bartel likely out with a hamstring injury, and newly acquired John Beck still learning the offense, back-up quarterback Rex Grossman could play up to three quarters against the Bills.

"I don't know how much I'm going to play, but if you just do the math, I'm probably going to play a lot," Grossman said. "I like to play football. I'm looking forward to making plays and trying to help us win the game."
