The Pittsburgh Steelers announced that they have placed linebacker Andre Frazier on injured reserve.

In 62 career games with the Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals, the 6-5, 245-pound Frazier has totaled 55 totals and a pair of quarterback sacks. 36 of Frazier's tackles have come on special teams.

To fill Frazier's spot on the 80-man roster, the Steelers signed first-year linebacker Brandon Renkart, who split his time between the New York Jets, Arizona Cardinals, and Indianapolis Colts over the last two seasons, but has yet to appear in an NFL game.
