The Houston Texans remain interested in free agent defensive end Aaron Schobel, and while head coach Gary Kubiak revealed today that he's spoken to Schobel recently, a deal does not appear imminent.

"Nothing has changed with Aaron," Kubiak said. "I think it's still an information process. I talked to him the other day, I had a great visit with him. I think it's just a matter of, ok, every day it's 'What does Aaron want to do? Where's he want to do it?', that type of thing.

"But, you know, we'll stay apart of that process, but as far as when, how, whatever--I don't know, we gotta keep going as a team."

The Texans are working out several defensive ends on Wednesday, including Raheem Brock.
