Three Ravens RFAs Sign One-Year Tenders

Three restricted free agents for the Baltimore Ravens signed their one-year tenders on Thursday, Mike Duffy of BaltimoreRavens.com reports.

Signing their tenders were wide receiver Mark Clayton, punter Sam Koch, and cornerback Fabian Washington. All three were tendered at the "Second Round" level.

Clayton and Washington, who were chosen with back-to-back picks in the 2005 NFL Draft (Washington was originally drafted by the Oakland Raiders), will earn $1.809 million dollars in base salary next season, while Koch, a sixth-round pick (203rd overall) in 2006, will earn $1.759 million dollars in base salary.

In 76 games, Clayton has 234 receptions for 3,116 yards and 12 touchdowns, and the 5-10, 190-pounder is expected to start opposite Anquan Boldin. Since being acquired from the Raiders for fourth-round pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, Washington has started 22 games for the Ravens, totaling 68 tackles, 1 interception, and 21 pass break-ups. Washington has 6 interceptions during his five-year career.

Koch has handled the Ravens' punting duties for the last four seasons, and has a net average of 38.1 yards, putting 110 of his 321 career punts inside the opponents' 20-yard line.

With Clayton, Washington, and Koch signed, offensive tackle Jared Gaither, fullback Le'Ron McClain, and safety Dawan Landry are the three unsigned Ravens' restricted free agents.
