Titans Agree to Terms With 3rd Round WR Damian Williams

Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports that Tennessee Titans third-round wide receiver Damian Williams has agreed to terms on a contract.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

After beginning his college career at Arkansas, Williams opted to transfer to USC following the 2006. Required to sit out the 2007 season, Williams made his debut for the Trojans in 2008, catching 58 passes for 869 yards and 9 touchdowns.

In 2009, Williams caught 70 passes for 1,010 yards and six touchdowns, and averaged 14.2 yards per punt return with two scores, earning first-team All Pac-10 honors as both a receiver and a punt returner.

Williams will compete with 2009 first-round pick Kenny Britt for playing time in 3-WR sets, and will be looked at as a return specialist, as well.

Titans' rookies and veterans are scheduled to report to training camp on Saturday. With Williams in the fold, first-round defensive end Derrick Morgan is the Titans' lone unsigned pick from the 2010 draft.
