Vikings to Sign CB Frank Walker

Adam Caplan of FOXSports.com reports the Minnesota Vikings are expected to sign free agent cornerback Frank Walker.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

A sixth-round pick (207th overall) out of Tuskegee by the New York Giants in 2003, Walker has 134 tackles, 7 interceptions, and 20 passes defensed during a seven-year career with the Giants (2003-06), Green Bay Packers (2007), and Baltimore Ravens, where Walker spent the past two seasons.

Once signed, Walker (5-11, 200) will fill the roster spot of cornerback Cedric Griffin, who will be placed on injured reserve after tearing the ACL in his right knee during Monday night's loss to the New York Jets.

Walker worked out for the New Orleans Saints on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reported.
