Vikings Trade DE Jayme Mitchell to the Browns

The Minnesota Vikings have traded defensive end Jayme Mitchell to the Cleveland Browns, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

According to Schefter, the Vikings will receive a late-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft from Cleveland.

Mitchell (6-6, 285) has been with the Vikings since signing as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi in 2006. In 29 career games, Mitchell has 22 tackles and 5 quarterback sacks. Mitchell was inactive for the Vikings' Week 3 win over the Detroit Lions, and adds depth at the "5" technique on the Browns defensive line.
