Confessions of a Polluted Mindset - May 19 2021

The Weekly Packers Brain Drain from Jersey Al.

Bortles is Best:

Interesting little tidbit here:

Amari Rodgers:

After watching some rookie camp video clips, I have this vision of defensive backs bouncing off Amari Rodgers like they just ran into a boxspring. What a physique for a "small" wide receiver.

The other Rodgers:

Evidently Aaron Rodgers will be appearing on Kenny Maynes' final SportsCenter show Monday Night. The anticipation will certainly grow to a fervor over the weekend as fans will expect him to finally break his silence on his situation with the Packers. I expect fans to be severely disappointed, with Rodgers just showing up to laud his friend and wish him well. Coincidentally (or not?), as Aaron Nagler pointed out on Twitter, Monday is the first day of Phase 3 of the offseason program and his participation starts to count toward receiving his offseason workout bonus. That will help feed the fervor...

Year 3 Breakout:

It's been accepted as fact that good young players make the biggest jump from year one to year two in the NFL. I've always considered that to be referring to their individual talent, rather than team impact. Year three is where players  often "break out" and start to make a significant impact on the team's performance. My choice for 3rd year breakout player in 2021 is Kingsley Keke. One criteria for "breakout" player is that you haven't yet had much of an impact on the team. So that would eliminate Rashan Gary, Elgton Jenkins, Darnell Savage and even Allen Lazard. I liked the Keke selection by the Packers, while acknowledging it would take him a year or two to bulk up and get himself to where he can be more stout against the run. Listed at 288 lbs when drafted, Keke expects to play at 305 lbs this season, after two straight offseasons working with fellow Houstonite Tramon Williams and his trainer Leroy Franklin. In an interview with PackersNews.com, Keke said, “(I focused on) increasing my leg strength,” Keke said. “Full-body strength, really, but more legs." That's exactly what I thought Keke needed coming out of college, so this could be what propels him to be 2021's "breakout" third year player.

The Schedule:

Five Primetime games is a great thing, but you can take the Thursday Night game and shoot it into the Sun. Don't get me wrong, I like having football to watch on a Thursday night, I just don't want the Packers to have to go through the increased risk of injury and physical strain of it. Next, only one Noon Central game at Lambeau Field feels really weird, but that doesn't man I don't like it. I much prefer Sunday afternoon games.(More tailgating time if at the game, doesn't break up the entire day if at home). Which do you prefer?

Which of these Sunday Game Start Times do you prefer?

12:00 Central - early game start
63% (41 votes)
3:20 Central - late game start
37% (24 votes)
Total votes: 65

I really like the noon games on Sunday. It is too hard to wait until 3:20 on game day!

I can see Keke making the jump as well and we really do need it this year.

I also DVR most Packer games and wait about 45 minutes or so to start watching the game as it is hard for me to watch much longer. That way I can skip through the commercials as much as possible~;-))

Don't forget your many international followers !
I rather like the 12.00 start because in the UK that is a 6pm start, while much later starts (7-8pmET) mean a midnight to 1am start, for me.

Despite some awkward starting times, I still much prefer American Football to our own soccer football.

The year three players have mostly already broken out or are sliding into obscurity, but I still hold out hope for Jace Sternberger.

Keke was a good choice as he should be over that very nasty concussion, by now.

Favourite rookie this year..............RB Kylin Hill, a 7th round pick that I believe will do well in the NFL.

I will be going to a Packer game this year again. The later times gives a whole bunch more time for tailgating and the fun that goes with it.

Living in Los Angeles I guess it doesn't matter much to me. Those days of having a bear and brat are long gone...Though I DO still love those brats! It's Brats and Snapple Ice Tea for me!

I'm with Al on Keke Kingsley. I really like Kingsley and believe he'll be a VERY special surprise for the Packers this season. I think we'll see him on the field more in situations other than obvious passing downs though I think he'll really shine there this year...9.5 Sacks for Keke this season plus an above average grade against the run...

Can't WAIT for June 1st to roll around. What ever the end result is I just want it to be over and STOP the distraction. I love Aaron Rodgers and honestly believe the Packers could win it all this year with him at QB. BUT if the Packers give in, screw up the cap in future years to keep him, then I'm sorry, I'm ready for a change. Get as MUCH as you can THIS YEAR Gute. WE may not win in 2021 without him, but with this roster, a slew of draft choices, and perhaps a player or two thrown in, I KNOW we can win a few down the road...Hopefully BEATING Rodgers along the way.

Nick,
Great commentary as usual!

Agree with your thoughts. I will add after some reflection that due to the weakness of the DL there really may not be another position on the team where we need a break out year more for a specific player. Not ILB and not even OL due to the depth we have, IMHO!

Of course if Love is starting than that statement changes from Keke to Love.

Nooners ROCK.

Agree on Kingsley Keke. Another player I’ve really liked who is in that year 3 wheel is Chandon Sullivan. He did have a phenomenal first year in limited use. He was highly productive for a UDFA rookie. He hit what hopefully was just a Sophomore slump last year.

My out of nowhere year 3 pick to hit the scene & contribute is THE YOSH!

Yes! Yosh is built like Thor. He only started playing D Line after he arrived at VA Tech. He was an OT in HS and Jr. High. His RAS is off the charts. Strong as an ox, he is fast and can jump like a DB. Technique and fine tuned fundamentals have held him back.

But even as a new found OT at VA Tech, he was pretty good in college....using his strength, length and power. But that won't keep you in the NFL. However, he has had two years of OT grad school study with Stenavich.

I really like how the young OL players are being coached by Stenavich and Luke Butkus. They all seem smart and communicate well and take great pride in run blocking for AJ. I read where Jenkins said when AJ has a good day that is "our day" too!

Totally on Board GG, doesn't Al always seems to be the voice of reason in trying times? Ive been hard on Chandon but only because he has been good enough that I don't say - hey, great stuff for a UDFA, but evaluate him against being a Top 10 slot CB. Its kinda a backhanded compliment. Keke really has given us all signs of being that pass rushing 5 tech that can play the run we are so desperate for, so its not a pipe dreams, same with Chandon, heres hoping that it was just a sophomore slump.

I am so lost on what to make of Yosh. You notice they didn't take a OT prospect but all OG prospects with the possibility to play some OT. Why?

Is Jenkins the next RT?
Feel Confidant Bakh is back week 1 or close?
Possibly going to bring out the secret weapon in Yosh to save the day?
They carried him on the 53 for 2 years, is he that good that they couldn't leave him on the PS anymore? Is he that bad they could never even have played him at OT in a game?

I am absolutely clueless on this one.

Loved "the other Rodgers" category. Not much to say until some truth and facts inform the discussion.

Would love to have Keke make the jump. I would be worried that a "knock heads" trench player had such a severe and prolonged head injury. While not a 3rd year player, I am excited about the rookie Slaton. Overall, it just would be nice to see the DL improve.

Razer, if DL improves , it could finally make this D a force. We should have a good rotation with Slaton hopefully a run stuffer and Keke putting some pressure on QBs. I wouldn't count out Lowry because he knows that he could be a cap casualty if he doesn't have a solid season.

I'm not disappointed with anything Rodgers does. He's a Hollywood star now. And with it comes the attitude. We've been lucky to have one of the greatest QB in the NFL. I just wish we could say the same for management. I'm still not on board with KE KE. He's NO Reggie White. And as far as breaking out. Expect Lowrey; and the packers need a different approach. Rodgers -The glimpse of things to come? I'm sure the guys in front of him will have more to say about that. Especially if Adams is the next SITUATION.

I talked with Santana after Gutekunst took Keke. I'm like, "Dude, that was YOU when you were young." He agreed while we were watching his highlights.

Santana Dotson was light years better. He was a very special player. The thing about Keke is the body type and style. Keke's got all the bend you could ask for. The length. Just needed some more strength. Should be fun to see.

I don't understand the disdain for management. They have put together a Super Bowl caliber team and done their best to keep the team together by doing cap gymnastics. The cap is about 182 million. Rodgers cap hit is around 37 million. That is about 20% of the cap. When Murphy and Gute took over they had to make the decision to get rid of a Super Bowl winning coach, which they did. They then hired a young coach that nobody had on their radar in ML. They then went out and signed some good defensive players to try and fix that problem along with drafting Savage and Alexander. This team was a mess when they took over and within a couple of years had them going 13-3 in consecutive seasons and going to two NFC championship games. You can question the Love pick but I don't believe drafting a receiver number 1 would have made the league leading offense much better if at all. It takes a while to earn Aarons trust.

Let's not forget also that Aarons play had steadily decreased for 3 to 4 years and he missed significant time with injuries. I understand that even with his decreased play he was still good but considering the progression and injuries I don't believe it was at all wrong to draft a quarterback if you had one fall to you that was highly rated.

Finally, how about a little credit to ML for getting Aaron to buy into an offense that is super quarterback friendly. Aaron was around 20th for average yards per attempt last year meaning he finally started taking the short open throws instead of holding onto the ball forever hoping for the big play down field.

Current management is not perfect but I believe they have done an overall good job of cleaning up the mess that was handed to them. The only thing I see from those who criticize is that they haven't drafted receivers early, didn't keep players that Rodgers liked even though they were not good or past their prime and that they haven't treated Rodgers like he is some sort of football god.

Whysoserious,
Awesome commentary and straight on. Mgmt has done a great job and appears many cant see the forest because of the trees.

Eventually, bits and pieces of what really has been going on will leak. I am fully prepared to start Love and not look back, however be nice to hear from Rodgers. The problem is neither Rodgers or the FO will likely really discuss many of the factual issues.

No - They put together a play -off team. Not super-bowl Team. You win in the trench. TT didn't get the players MM needed on Defense. Defense wins championships. If you look at The Dallas draft. You'll understand it. ILB- Who replaced Bishop? CM3 had to switch. Etc. TT replaced Pickett with clark. But what about Raji? What about Daniels? CB- Woodson? Collins? How many have we drafted in the last ten years? While MM got the bargain hopefuls. The Smiths replaced Nick Perry and Cm3. BUT: when GUTE had a chance to get a ILB or a DT. Gute found someway to avoid it. Again we saw the late round Hopefuls, that needed to build- up. A Wr doesn't have to be taken in rd. 1. Which Gute and TT, proved Time and Time again. I believe Gute could have signed a FA QB first. After all, didn't he sign more FAs, then most GMs? Which is clearly what he wants to keep doing. And to do that he must cut fan favorites. You can only kick the can down the road so far. I don't believe Rodgers injuries had anything to do with Love. HIS SALARY DID!! Don't evaluate Gute or Murphy on what they did. But rather on; what they haven't done. And thats; finish making this Defense Championship material. For the FANS.

I guess then that everyone who says we have a Super Bowl roster if Aaron sticks around are not being truthful because it is only a play-off roster.

Let's evaluate them for what they haven't done...........make a championship defense.

All they added was: (Sorry they couldn't sign a DL or ILB but 3 offensive players take up 74 million in cap space for 2021 which makes free agents tough to sign)
1. Z Smith
2. P Smith
3. A Amos
4. J alexander
5. D Savage
8. E stokes
9. R Gary

Yes they could maybe have drafted someone for DL or ILB earlier but sometimes that is the way the board falls. They obviously thought more of Stokes than say Barmore and did draft for the trenches when they took a center to replace Linsley. I remember those who really wanted Patrick Queen instead of Love. According to PFF his overall rating was 29.7 which is awful. Point is - the draft is a crapshoot as we have seen by the many misses trying to build a defense with early picks.

Also do not forget that we have the top quarterback cap hit for 2021, we also signed Bahk, Clark, and Jones to some of the highest contracts at their positions plus giving all that money to the Smiths and Amos. We now have to try and resign Adams and Alexander with limited cap room.

Finally, I have noticed that all the examples people give about teams signing lots of players and filling out their rosters have quarterbacks on rookie contracts. The exception being Brady who normally plays for less than market value. He is 16th in qb cap hit for 2021. Even KC is still benefitting from Mahomes rookie deal until next year when his cap hit jumps to almost 36 million. It is about 7.5 million for 2021. Once you have quarterback making a lot of money it is hard to keep a top notch roster together. Look at the favorites in the AFC........KC, Buf, Cle, Bal......all have qbs on rookie deals. Wilson went to two Super Bowls on his Rookie deal. As noted before no Super Bowl winning quarterback has won a Super Bowl since 1994 with more than 13.1% of their teams cap.

MM had a death wish. He let Capers completely run the D with his exotic looks, constant subs that didn't confuse anyone but his own players. Every team had Capers play tendencies and probably his play book. Tons of video on his down and distance Ds. I recall John Gruden when he was doing TV, and it was 3rd and 8. Gruden said "ok the book on Capers here would see him rushing 4 and playing a soft zone. Perfect time for a screen pass. It was a screen pass... for 15 yards.

MM just looked the other way until 6 or so years ago when he got involved in the D and convinced Capers to move CMIII to ILB to shore up the soft middle. That was the his last productive year for Clay in GB. The next year Capers again took full control and moved CMIII back to the edge and he did very little.

Pettine looked to be an upgrade. And D improved some...mainly due to talent Gutey brought in. Pettine just was so passive with his run game D.

I was so excited when ML was interviewing Jim Leonard....alas, too good to be true. Hopefully Barry is an upgrade over Pettine. His DC track record is poor. But he does have some very good assistants.

SO many great points here, but this one!...:

"Yes they could maybe have drafted someone for DL or ILB earlier but sometimes that is the way the board falls."

This was widely considered an OFFENSE heavy draft. One of the oddest we've seen in a very long time in terms of DL talent. Getting Eric Stokes with the #29 pick and the TJ Slaton/Shemar Jean-Charles combo in R5 were pretty damn good strokes of luck.

AR played 417 snaps in 2017.
AR was > 1000 snaps in '15, '16, '18, '19, '20.
Yes, he had and played through injuries.
94% of snaps in 2014.

AR's passer rating declined starting in 2017 through 2019. His PFF grade was always above average and was elite in 2018. I can think of football reasons for the decline in passer rating in 2017 - 2019.

Who is another reggie white? What's the point? These are the days of the salary cap, good and bad. But it guarantees one thing, it is impossible to maintain a team with good players at each position let alone very good or elite. For every player paid like Bakh (highest LT) AR (highest QB at the time) KC (highest NT) you will need to have guys on the other end of the spectrum (lowest paid starting insert position) By the way these guys are all considered arguably the best and were DRAFTED by MANAGEMent. It doesn't even stop there. DA, Corey lindsly & Jaire A also considered to be the best. What team has done that? NONE. Then you have Jenkins, Savage and Gary pro bowlers and on the rise in gary. Oh how about A Jones- yet another high end draft pick. One would have to be blind not to recognize the immense talent on this team which was voted the #1 roster in Football and the Athletic had it #4 going into 2021.

Not sure if you're desperate to be negative or what but contrasting reggie White against a DL to determine if he is any good? PFF has Keke in the top 3rd of all DI that qualified with enough snaps (138 players DI).

Management has been a strong suit of this team over the last 25 plus years (since wolf). Its not an opinion. Its a fact proven out by the statistical analysis of drafts and FA. Gute has been right up there as well. To think otherwise is just not knowing the facts. Favre and Rodgers were not luck but high risk moves that other GMs that are seemingly better missed. Its part of the equation.

Does anyone think AR is who he is today w/o the support given to him through the packers? Coaching/OL/WR/Medical/Training. Not even close. heck, if he had to start in year 1 or 2 he might be out of the league by now.

Name a team over the last 13 years that has supplied a better OL year in and year out. He was also stocked with WR when WRs were the key to the offense. Its a new scheme and WRs are no longer the Key.

Sorry stockholder for the rant but my guy please take a minute to compare what the packers FO/Team/coaches etc have done to the rest of the league.

Then FO just finished rebooting AR career as in that old scheme he days were numbered. For his sake, if he does leave GB he needs to land on a similar scheme with a good OL or he is in trouble.

We can always find negatives, always, TT at the end, MM at the end, teams issues with DBs in the draft over the years, Guessing wrong on AR after the 2019 draft even. But when you contrast that to the other 31 teams in the NFL their record is right up there with teams like NE, Pittsburgh, Ravens. The FO hasn't even been average, they have been very good bordering on elite.

Being in another market (Lions) and having that team suck means that the local team has a lot of noon (1 pm here) start times...so when the Packers start at noon, I usually have to "Wayne and Larry" it. For us in western Wisconsin, it doesn't matter what time the Packers play, if the vikings are playing at the same time. Cable exclusivity and the NFL rules means that the vikings dictate that the Packers games will not be aired in western Wisconsin, since the NFL schedulers have the vikings playing at the same time as the Packers in five games, this season. Almost a third of this season is blacked out, for us, due to Minnesota medias' and NFL broadcast rules. That means I either have to get a satellite dish, or find a streaming channel that has the game, or go to a bar to watch the game. Neither are appealing to me. I guess I'll have to listen to the game on the radio with the Packers Radio Network and Wayne and Larry. Not bad company, at all. The games that will be blacked out, unless flexed, are Week 5: Packers vs Bengals; Week 6: Packers vs Bears; Week 10: Seahags at Packers; Week 12: Rams at Packers and Week 18: Packers vs Lions. Here's hoping the vikings are irrelevant by mid season, so schedule flexing may occur.

I can commisserate. All I know each year is that two games for certain (Lions-Packers, here; Vikings-Packers for you) will be on regular television.

We do get the benefit of local fan bases, so when the Lions are out west or have a late kickoff and the Packers are playing early, we almost always get them, here. A lot of Packers fans in MI.

I grew up in LaCrosse too and never recall having a Packer game blacked out. Channel 8 and/or 19 would have had mobs with pitchforks in their parking lots if they put on a Vyqueen game over the Packers.

I'm just across the river in SE MN. My cable provider gives both LaCrosse channels and Minneapolis channels so I can watch Packers all the time.
I never watch them live because as other's have stated, fall is too nice of time of year to be sitting for 3.5 hours watching commercials and listening to . . . blather on about stuff they only have shallow knowledge about.
I DVR the games and watch them at night, in about 1.25 hours. FF through all commercials and half time. I live in the country, so my "neighbors" are nearly a mile away and don't spoil the surprise. If it sounds like I'm bragging, guilty as charged!

Bortles is Best:
Basically it tells me that its hard to find good QB's. Even in the first round.

Amari Rodgers:
He reminds me of Deebo Samual with this aspect of his game. Its tough to tackle him. He is by far the player I'm most looking forward to seeing play.

The other Rodgers:
I could see this going one of two ways. If he truly wants to be traded and wants out, I think this is where he does break his silence. He will tell the whole thing giving Mayne the story. If he doesn't want to leave, he won't say anything. or he will just continue with his future is a beautiful mystery. We shall see.

Year 3 Breakout:
My choice would also be Keke. I think he is going to have a big impact this year. His ability as a rusher from the inside will really help the defense.
I think Gary and Savage will have bigger years as well. I could see Gary becoming and dominant edge player this year. He has had 2 years to develop and now he is ready to take over. I also think Savage is poised for taking another step.

The Schedule:
I used to hate the afternoon games. I loved noon games. But now, as I seemingly always have to much to do, the 3:00 games are so much nicer for me. It allows me to get stuff done, and then when the game is done, its basically time to relax for the night.

Thanks for the Brain drain Al

Bortles: I like the signing, It is good to have a veteran QB on the cheap and being the #3 pick in the draft he does have some talent. He got the Jag’s to the Playoffs.

Amari: My favorite pick in this draft and I think if you polled Packers fans he would probably be the top vote getter for the favorite choice. He should contribute day one is a kick returner jet sweep guy and slot receiver. They shouldn’t even have to carry a fourth running back because I’m sure he could fill-in in a pinch.

Aaron Rodgers: Isn’t going anywhere this is much to do about nothing(well almost nothing) Murphy and Gutey know that it would be suicide To lose Rodgers.
I do think Rogers will reiterate how much his legacy means and how he would love to finish his career in Green Bay And the fans. And how he wants to win several more Super Bowls in Green Bay and he will also reiterate but that’s not in my control.

Third year breakout player: If Keke is the guy to break out this year What a great boost to the defense it would be, the concussion thing with him was a bit scary but that’s what NFL players have to deal with I guess. I also think it’s a make or break here for Sternberger, if he shows that he can be the Guy it will make it much easier for them to move on from Tonyan because they are going to be strapped on the salary cap and they are going to want to Sign Alexander and Davante Adams to extensions.

I can’t wait for all the Rogers drama to be over and for training camp to start this is going to be a Super Bowl team.

I think Rodgers will use the interview to say exactly what you think he'll say, but phrased in that passive/aggressive way of his so that it's easy for the media and fans to place all blame for the situation completely at the feet of the team. He'll also either not mention or downplay any talk of his wanting guarantees, more money, roster control, etc. Rodgers appears to want complete control over the narrative surrounding this ongoing clusterfuck, and will use this appearance as his way of dodging any and all responsibility for it.

I also predict the he will not be asked any "hard ball" questions about his role in this situation.

To AR, he CANNOT be the bad guy here.

The team is really in a Lose-Lose situation (regarding messaging, at least), and AR knows it. I hope they make AR happy on June 1 and ship him to LV or DEN.

Nostradanus.....not only did Bortles get to the playoffs, but he played pretty well in the Championship game, on the road, against the Patriots. This guy is not some slug. In fact, if Rodgers is gone (as I believe), and Love isn’t ready (as others believe), then Bortles probably starts for us against the Saints.

Keke’s problem has always been lower body strength (he’s always had a strong upper half. Great to hear that has been a real focus and the added bulk will help too. One can’t guarantee that he will burst out now, but this was what he had to do to reach his potential and should at least make him better and more versatile. I think he will grab a bigger role. I’m hoping that this unleashed his potential beyond that.

As to games, I like the mid afternoon ones. Time to get things done beforehand and get into the aftermath after.

Let's see, Rodgers not in camp but instead a fearured guest on ESPN. Expecting a master class in probing questions structured to shed new light on Packer managment behavior while giving Rodgers the opportunity to show respect towards all things Packers and take the high road. Perhaps a demonstration of PR schooling to come if necessary.

I think you'll actually get a master class in "spin", with AR coming off as just wanting the best for the team by getting what he wants.

Like his last foray into the spin world, or do you only believe Shefter’s disclaimer and in the chance chirping of Rodgers friends over the draft period? If so, relax, it’s a perfect world.

We have some very interesting rookies to watch. However, Myers could have the biggest impact by keeping our OL from shuffling around. With Dillon, Runyon, Martin, Barnes, and Keke hopefully improving and the additional help from our rookies , this could be an improvement from an already very good team. That's why Rod isn't going anywhere for at least this season. The only trade that would have made sense was to the Niners, and that passed. Denver would be a classic case of biting off your nose to spite your face.

...Denver would be a classic case of biting off your nose to spite your face...

Well said. I think that Rodgers could generate winning seasons in Denver but another Super Bowl could be a stretch. At this point, I don't even think that he could win us a Super Bowl. Like Favre, he will revert back to his tendencies and teams will play for that. Imagine the Bucs sitting in Tampa 2 coverage daring Rodgers to throw - which he did - and which led to a fourth quarter of 3 and outs. Rodgers's ego is driving the train now and it is a shitshow.

My prediction is that we don't win another SB with AR, assuming he plays out his contract.

I don't actually think he'll be back, though. And no, he won't win another SB with any other team, either, unless that team has a top 5 defense.

Will be interesting to monitor how Amari fares relative to the rest of premier slot WR class. Waddle #6 was a pipe dream, Toney drafted #20, but front & center will be E.Moore #34, R.Moore #49, and Eskridge #56, whom we passed on.

May only be year 2, but I'm looking for our young LB TIGER cubs, Martin & Barnes, to begin to roar by season's end as the year of the TIGER draws nigh (Feb 2022). Dillon too if he can sustain health in a featured role. Assuming Love gets majority of starting reps this year, he should be on the docket next year.

Being a Green season ticket holder, I am a Nooner. Great memories with the sun high in the sky over a bright Lambeau field. The late games, especially during Nov/Dec with the sun sinking behind the stadium and gray sky with the lights on is not as appealing as the sun flooding the field for me.

Too many Lambeau sunburns to count back in the days before all the additions to the bowl.

Certainly Keke as a (3rd year) breakout player but also Sternberger. However I would be more optimistic if both had not major concussions - which can predispose them to another. I truly hope not, but concussions are still a problem that have yet to be fully remedied.

The problem for Sternberger is too much competition at the position. Can't see him making any kind of big impact.

It's good that Savage and Gary are progressing nicely, but there's plenty more breakout room. Wouldn't it nice if one of them made the Pro Bowl? Gary: More playing time = more impact plays.

I like the Sunday night games because it frees the daylight hours to do other things. Also, Sunday night tends to avoid the less appealing match-ups, unlike Thursday night. Watching football on Thursday seems unnatural anyway; I wish they would do away with it.

Getting to be less and less an Aaron Rodgers fan with his actions or lack thereof! Believe KeKe will explode onto the scene this year and Jenkins will be a beast! Just hope Bak comes back early and as strong as ever! Also here is hoping Meyers will be a strong new center and much more than adequate! One more thing I wish Thursday night football would be gone, too hard on the players!
