David Bakhtiari Doubtful For Seahawks Game

The All Pro left tackle was activated to the 53 man roster on Wednesday.

David Bakhtiari's return to the starting lineup will most likely have to wait for at least one more week.

The All Pro left tackle will be listed as Doubtful for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks, according to head coach Matt LaFleur.

Bakhtiari was activated to the 53 man roster on Wednesday after beginning the year on the Physically Unable To Perform list. He's been practicing with the team for the last several weeks, but was not seen at practice today. LaFleur indicated the offensive lineman did not suffer a setback in his bid to return from a torn ACL.

In other injury news, LaFleur said cornerback Eric Stokes will be listed as Questionable after a week of limited practice due to a knee injury he suffered in warm ups during last Sunday's game in Kansas City.

Defensive tackle Kenny Clark will also be Questionable while dealing with a back injury. Clark's fellow defensive tackle Kingsley Keke is listed as Doubtful while he continues to work back from a concussion.

Tight end Dominique Dafney was the only other player currently on the 53 man roster who missed Friday's practice. Dafney is dealing with a hamstring injury.

Here's to hoping he'll return at the same level as before his injury.

Keke about 3 weeks now that’s a long time for a concussion must be more to it .

As the article says, he also had a concussion late last year with lingering effects. I'd guess he's done for a month or more.

I worry about his long term health. Some guys take a long time to recover and pass the medical assessment. But his history might be such that the team is being extra careful. I am ok with that.

At least Bak is back on the roster. Hopefully this means that he will be back in another week or two. The sooner the better. GPG! Thanks, Since '61

There might have been some swelling or inflammation issues to deal with. He probably has not done much football related stuff until he got back into the building. We want him back but we want him back right.

My hope is he's back in time for the Rams game. Obviously next week against the Vikings would be best, but I'm all for the conservative approach right now. With a little luck, maybe we get that dude wearing #23 and the other guy wearing #55 back sometime soon too!
