Well, either the team will forego resigning him now or they'll get him at a much cheaper price then they probably were initially discussing. I guess the real question will be what type of punishment or suspension will he face from the NFL and will there be any potential jail time? I think BJ.Raji's chances at returning just increased 10 fold if not more; plus, the likelihood the Packers may be willing to add another D-lineman (NT-type) in the draft also just went up too.

Dude must of liked to roll huge joints, why else would he need almost a pound of good smoke?

Kinda looks like brick weed. I'd like to see a little purple or red in that photo.

Good thing he hasn't signed any dotted lines yet on a long term deal. Like Nagler said, way to handle success.

What is a "black bag pack"?

I take offense with the pessimistic description that the "bag pack" was "half unzipped".
Doesn't that also mean that it was "half zipped"?
Or is my argument "half baked"?

Guion stepped in for Raji and did great. I was hoping he would be retained. "Was" being the operative word.
Now, he has more important things to worry about than playing football. I hope the Packers let him attend to those matters without the burden of football to distract him.

Being familiar with that area, I would be worried if the cops had taken my money too. One way or another you're not getting it back. Of course, I would also know better than to put myself in the situation where the cops would be taking my money. I've smoked blunts under those same beautiful pines and sandy hills, but I never carried $190,000 (or $190) with me either.

You don't swerve and smoke with an elbow on the passenger seat. Sober as a nun, hands at 10 and 2. Day one stuff.

Not innocent to proven guilty here. He is guilty and probably played his last for da pack. Too bad. Liked the guys play, thought he was a good return on investment and was slotted to return.
For him the good news he had the money in his car to pay the 100,000 bail. LOL

That doesn't happen. That's confiscated and probably gone for good. I feel for the guy. Not smart but who is all the time? Sometimes you are just rolling and feeling the rolly spirit and havin a time. And it's all coming together, the world is right, it's a great night and the music is perfect and you're about to be a multi millionaire and.....
With that said, Florida. Florida. Just say no to everything in Florida. Good luck, man. I say welcome the man back if he deserves a second chance. And we all do.

Guion driving across multiple lanes, hanging partially out of the driver's side window, while armed, carrying $190k in cash, and possessing 357 grams of marijuana makes no sense at all. Unless, that is, he began the night with a full kilogram of the stuff.
Then it makes perfect sense.

Wait a little while before snapping to judgement and you find out that the money is all accounted for by Packers checks he cashed, he was moving from De Pere to his home in Florida and taking the money to his family, the gun wasn't loaded and was in its case. Too bad a lawyer will get a lot of it. Stoned and not too smart but maybe not as bad as it looked initially.

I don't think anyone is assuming the money isn't legit. The stuff that we know isn't legit is enough to give Mr. Guion a series of legal problems. I don't do criminal law, let alone criminal law in Florida, so I won't venture a guess as to what this looks like coming out of the plea deal, but I'm 100% positive that there will be a plea deal, he will plead no contest to one or more charges, and the NFL will suspend him for four or more games. His best case scenario now is a league minimum deal for next year. When you take off the missed game checks then he will no doubt make less money in 15 than he did in 14. Incredibly stupid move, right up there with saying, "Don't you know who I am?" Oh wait, he did that too.
Oh, and a good lawyer is what is gonna keep his ass out of jail. So lighten up with the lawyer slam.

You can say the cash is accounted for by the game checks, BUT he must have a bank in Florida that he could TRANSFER the money to without risk.
My spidey sense tells me that he sold, and that cash is from the deal. Unless they can identify serial numbers from cashing his check, I think he was just carrying home the shake after selling a pound or two.
Disclaimer: I've been wrong before. I am also not a detective or lawyer.
All that said, yeah I think he's toast in GB.

Not even close to enough pot to make me unbummed about the Seahawk game.
