Aaron couldn't be more spot on about teachers' salaries. When I was a teacher (just two years) back in 1976 my salary (paid monthly over 12 months) for the year was $8,500.

I was a counselor in the public school system( elementary age), and always thought how unfair it was that teachers shelled out their own money for supplies and extras they needed to teach. I think they got a small amount to spend, but was not near enough. Most did it without complaint and were so dedicated. My respect goes out to the teaching profession. I , too, had to buy my own supplies but didn't have a classroom full of kids to consider. GO Pack Go!
