Packers defense regressing at the wrong time , no way they can stop teams like Dallas , Tampa, Colts , Chiefs , sorry to say it’s shaping up for another one and done season but many will take comfort and celebrate 13 wins .

How they played the last few games means nothing come playoff time.

That's just plain nonsense. In the last five weeks, this has been one of the worst defenses in football. Ignore that if you like but to expect mediocre players like Lowry and Lancaster and Sullivan and backup DE's who can't stop the run or rush the passer to suddenly perform well against the best teams in football is simply closing your eyes and making noises to shut out the obvious.

This defense stinks. The offense is without a reliable #2 receiver. That's what did us in last year and the signs are there that not much has changed. Rodgers and Davante could go nuclear and deliver a title, but watch the oddsmakers.

Ironic that many who hate on Mike McCarthy are now openly embracing the Cowboys. The last time I checked McCarthy (checks notes) is still Head Coach of the Dallas Cowboys.

The Packers can beat any team in the playoffs. Including Dallas. Period. Full stop. Bring it on!

Granted that there are some inconsistencies there, but MM has a lot to work with there offensively: 3 terrific WRs, a stud RB (with a good backup), a big TE who is improving, etc, and some big playmakers on D. As a dual Eagles/Packers fan, I hate to complement the boys.

I think that a healthy (or at least healthier) Pack beats the Cowboys (especially at home, and we need to hold serve this weekend), but there's more work to do.

That team is loaded with talent. The only thing stopping them is how good of a quarterback Preston is in crunch time.

Happy new year packer fans. If the packers take down the Vikes on Sunday, Zimmer will be sailing off into the horizon and the Vikes begin a modified rebuild.
I know the players are going to lobby hard to keep him and are coming here with a purpose of winning so he doesnt lose his job. Hopefully the packers who have been missing in action return by then.
For sure Jefferson will be looking for which side of the line Stokes is on and preparing for another big game.

Everybody knows that teams with good records shouldnt be teams with good records. Just look last year when Pittsburgh was 10-0 to start the year and then barely made the playoffs and had a hard time winning games at the end - and even their team this year is full of holes. The same can be said about the AZ Cards this year - they are now exposed to have weaknesses and the loss of Hopkins hasnt helped but one cannot rely on only guy.

Now this year - we could just as easily have 3 more losses - the game against AZ - the game against the Ravens and the game last week. And we could just as easily beat the Vikes had we held onto the INT and then walked the ball down the field as per normal.

But the bad special teams and the failure of the offense to put the games away when having the chance ( last week and against the Ravens and against the Cards) putting the Defense in bad places.
The one thing and maybe it is that we are tiring but we dont seem to be as swarming as we once were and our gap integrity both on the rushes and on the sweeps is killing us.

Offensively - Jones hasnt done his explosive runs this year - nothing to the house and no really long runs in games or really big games.
I hope that Lafleur has a bunch of great plays that he is not using to fix the Red Zone - because that is also killing us as well as the early 3 and outs in games and after the other teams score on us early . That doesnt help the D to get reorganized.

But we are in the dance and that is step 1 - now to get a couple of home games - step 2. Hopefully we dont underestimate the Queens - they will be getting Cook back and it will be their superbowl because they just keep losing tight games. Would love to see us put the nail into Zimmers coffin

I don’t know what games you are watching but it sure as hell is not the offense that is putting the defense in bad places. They are doing it all by themselves.

Ok I wont argue with you because you are obviously oblivious to the facts - that against the Ravens we needed to put the ball into the endzone and put us up by 10 and against the Cards we turned it over instead of going up by 14 and gave the ball back and against Cleveland Adams had a drop otherwise we run the clock out - but you know better.
