Bengals Sign 5th Round OL Otis Hudson

The Cincinnati Bengals have signed fifth-round offensive guard Otis Hudson, Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Hudson began his college career as a defensive lineman at University of Minnesota, appearing in nine games as a reserve before moving to the offensive line midway through his sophomore season. Hudson transferred to Eastern Illinois in 2008, and started the last two seasons at right tackle.

Despite starting 21 games at right tackle, Hudson (6-5, 312) is still quite raw and is projected to begin his NFL career at right guard, though a move back to right tackle at some point is a possibility.

Hudson is the second of the Bengals' nine picks in the 2010 NFL Draft to sign a contract.
