Bills RT Cornell Green to Miss Few Weeks

Buffalo Bills right tackle Cornell Green will miss a few weeks after the team's bye week, head coach Chan Gailey said on Wednesday.

"It's stuff he's been dealing with," Gailey said of the unspecified injury. "It got a little worse, and we let it go. He probably pushed it too far last week and it's cost him a few games."

Undrafted rookie Cord Howard (6-4, 314) replaced Green during Sunday's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, and will start against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7. Green played for Gailey at Georgia Tech, and has been active for all five games after earning a spot on the 53-man roster during the pre-season.

Newly signed Mansfield Wrotto, another former Yellowjacket, has started a handful of games at guard during his three-year stint with the Seattle Seahawks, but was moved to offensive tackle this off-season and could be an option at right tackle for the Bills.
