Adam Caplan of Scout.com reports the Cleveland Browns have signed free agent center/guard Eric Ghiaciuc.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

A fourth-round pick (119th overall) out of Central Michigan in 2005, the 6-4, 303-pound center started 42 games for the Cincinnati Bengals between the 2005 and 2008 seasons.

Ghiaciuc signed with the Kansas City Chiefs last April, but was released at the end of training camp. After spending nearly the entire season as a street free agent, Ghiaciuc signed with the San Diego Chargers in Week 16 when Scott Mruczkowski was placed on injured reserve with an ankle injury.
