Browns to Sign LB Titus Brown
By admin
The Cleveland Browns will sign linebacker Titus Brown off the Denver Broncos practice squad, Brown's agent, Ian Greengross, announced on Twitter.
Originally signed by the Miami Dolphins in 2008 as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State, the 6-2, 250-pound Brown has spent much of the past two seasons on the Browns practice squad.
Brown has one special teams tackle in five career regular season games, all with the Browns, and posted 10 tackles, including one for a loss, with a pass defensed during the 2010 pre-season.
The Broncos had signed Brown to their practice squad last week.
Cleveland will need to make a corresponding transaction before Brown's signing is official.
