Jets Rule Revis Out For Dolphins Game

Cornerback Darrelle Revis will not play when the New York Jets take on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday Night Football, Jets head coach Rex Ryan announced on Wednesday.

Furthermore, Revis won't even travel with the team, with the All-Pro cornerback staying behind to receive further treatment on his strained left hamstring.

"It's too risky of a proposition to put him out there," Ryan said, according to Jenny Vrentas of The Star-Ledger.

With Revis out, Antonio Cromartie and 2010 first-round pick Kyle Wilson are expected to get the start on Sunday.
