The New York Jets have waived wide receiver Patrick Turner, reports Jenny Vrentas of The Star-Ledger.

A third-round pick in 2009 by the Miami Dolphins, Turner was waived on Saturday and claimed by the Jets on Sunday.

In addition to waiving Turner, the Jets terminated linebacker Ricky Foley and safety Donovan Warren from the practice squad. Linebacker Cody Brown, a 2009 second-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals, was signed to the practice squad.
