Qwest Field Gets a Paint Job

Over the last eight years, the original white roof on Qwest Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks, had a nasty, and likely inevitable habit of turning gray with dirt.
Workers cleaned the roof a few years ago, but when the roof once again began looking worse than the 9-23 team it has partially covered on Sundays, fans, talk radio hosts, office workers with views of the stadium, and commuters began to complain a bit more loudly about the filthy roof.
These complaints prompted First & Goal, which manages the facility, to once again clean the roof and paint it...blue, a project that was wrapped up on Thursday.
"The newly-painted blue roof complements the downtown cityscape and enhances the white arches, the stadium's trademark," First & Goal said in a press release.
I'll have to see the blue roof first-hand to offer an opinion, but it, uh, could've been painted a far worse color than blue.
