Rams Select QB Sam Bradford

As expected, the St. Louis Rams have selected Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford with the first overall pick of the 2010 NFL Draft.

The St. Louis Rams released veteran quarterback Marc Bulger earlier this off-season, reportedly at Bulger's request. Clearly the 33-year old Bulger sensed that the team was leaning in the direction of the 6-4, 236-pound Bradford, who sufficiently answered questions about his surgically-repaired right shoulder.

Bradford becomes the face of the franchise's rebuilding effort under second-year head coach Steve Spagnuolo.
