Saints Lose DBs Reis, Porter

New Orleans Saints cornerback Tracy Porter will miss 2-to-4 weeks with a sprained MCL in his left knee, reports Mike Triplett of The Times-Picayune.

Porter sprained the same ligament in 2009, costing him four games during the regular season. Cornerbacks Randall Gay and Patrick Robinson, the team's first-round pick in 2010, are expected to replace Porter.

WWL-TV Sports in New Orleans reports that Saints safety Chris Reis will have season-ending surgery on his shoulder. Reis was injured during Sunday's 16-14 win over the Carolina Panthers.

Reis had three tackles in two games this season, and has been key contributor on special teams the last three seasons, totaling 31 tackles with a forced fumble and fumble recovery on special teams in 46 games.
