Titans CB Jason McCourty Underwent Surgery

Tennessee Titans cornerback Jason McCourty had his broken right forearm repaired surgically, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.

McCourty, who picked up his first NFL interception in Sunday's win over the New York Giants, is expected to miss 3-4 weeks.

A sixth-round pick (203rd overall) out of Rutgers, McCourty (5-11, 188) has started in six of his 18 games in the NFL, totaling 30 tackles and the one interception. McCourty started three games in place of Cortland Finnegan during his rookie season, and beat out 2010 fourth-round cornerback Alterraun Verner for a starting job this summer.

Verner is expected to replace McCourty in the starting lineup.
