Titans RB LeGarrette Blount Looking Forward to Pre-Season Opener

Tennessee Titans undrafted rookie running back LeGarrette Blount is looking forward to Saturday night's pre-season opener.

"I’m looking forward to going in there and facing the challenge so I can make my plea to get some playing time during the regular season," Blount said according to David Boclair of the Nashville City Paper.

Suspended for much of his senior season after sucker-punching a Boise State player after an Oregon loss, Blount returned for the Ducks Rose Bowl loss to Ohio State, and played in the Senior Bowl in Mobile in January.

It's been awhile since Blount played in the Pacific Northwest, and the 6-0, 247-pound running back expects to have some friendly faces in the crowd.

"I might have a few of the guys from the football team come up to watch the game," Blount said. "I’ll be playing against a lot of our former players – Nick Reed, Max Unger and Walter Thurmond, all those guys – so it will be fun."
