Titans WR Kenny Britt Involved in Nightclub Fight

Tennessee Titans second-year wide receiver Kenny Britt was involved in a fight at Club Karma, a Nashville nightclub earlier this morning, WSMV-TV reports.

According to the Metro police report, a 26-year old man was drinking at the bar when a 29-year old man approached and punched him. Britt allegedly joined the 29-year old man, who claimed to have been elbowed in the throat.

The 26-year old man declined to press charges after the fight, which shut the club down.

A 2009 first-round pick (30th overall) out of Rutgers, Britt has caught 58 passes for 910 yards and 7 touchdowns in 22 career games in the NFL, but has made more headlines for his off-field dealings.

In January, Britt was arrested in Glen Ridge, New Jersey for $865 worth of outstanding traffic warrants, which was followed by a report that Britt guaranteed a bail bond for a childhood friend who was charged possession of a firearm in connection to a murder. That friend, Albert Robinson, is already a convicted felon and in June was charged with the murder of a 17-year old Jersey City man, who authorities allege Robinson threw into the Hudson River.

Britt was cited for driving on a revoked license on Wednesday, August 4.
