Vikings-Eagles Flexed to Primetime

The NFL has "flexed" the December 26 game between the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles into primetime.
Kickoff for the Vikings-Eagles game at Lincoln Financial Field was originally scheduled for 1pm ET.
With this week's game against the New York Giants postponed until tonight, the Vikings' game on December 26 will be the team's third straight primetime game for a team that entered this week with a 5-7 record, an interim head coach, and a future Hall of Fame quarterback unsure if he'll be able to play due to a shoulder injury. (The Vikings travel to the Chicago Bears next Monday night.)
The appeal to NBC is Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles, who'll be making their fourth appearance on Sunday Night Football, and sixth overall primetime appearance, including three in the month December.
NBC originally had the Cincinnati Bengals hosting the San Diego Chargers scheduled for that time slot. That game has been moved to a 4:05pm ET start.
