Vince Young Cited for Assault

Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young has been issued a Class C assault citation for his role in an early Sunday morning altercation inside Club Onyx, a Dallas strip club.

Police reviewed security surveillance footage and interviewed witnesses prior to issuing the citation to Young, which carries a $500 fine.

According to the CBS-11 report, the video shows Young speaking to a club manager in a back office, when another man makes a derogatory hand sign referencing the University of Texas, Young's alma mater. A few moments later, Young charges the man and a fight involving multiple individuals breaks out.

Young left the scene before the Dallas police responded.

"We are aware of the report about Vince Young," Titans spokesman Robbie Bohren said in a statement released on Sunday afternoon. "The organization has been in touch with Vince and we will continue to gather addition information."

The Titans were one of two NFL teams to have last week completely off, but resume their "Organized Team Activity" sessions on Monday, with sessions also scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday.

Something tells me Chris Johnson's absence won't be the main topic of conversation this week.
