49ers Sign LB Keaton Kristick to Active Roster

With the roster spot vacated by the release of safety Michael Lewis, the San Francisco 49ers have signed linebacker Keaton Kristick off the practice squad.

An undrafted free agent from Oregon State, Kristick (6-3, 234) had 16 tackles during the pre-season, including three on special teams. Kristick had been on the 49ers' practice squad since the start of the regular season.

The 49ers also officially named Chris Beake to his position as an assistant coach on offense. Beake joined the franchise last week.
