Dolphins DE Jared Odrick Has Broken Left Foot

Despite what was reported last night, Miami Dolphins first-round defensive end Jared Odrick did not break his right leg during Wednesday's practice.

He broke his left foot, Omar Kelly and Mike Berardino of the Sun-Sentinel report.

Either way, the 28th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft have his rookie season end after posting one tackle in the regular season-opening win over the Buffalo Bills.

The Dolphins have not made an official transaction with Odrick, but Randy Starks is expected to continue to start in Odrick's defensive end position, with Paul Soliai starting at nose tackle.

Nose tackle Chris Baker and/or defensive end Clifton Geathers, a sixth-round pick in 2010 by the Cleveland Browns, may be signed off the practice squad to improve depth along the defensive line.
